1.Who I am

This website belongs to Muhammad Asad, a web developer and WordPress specialist, who operates it under the name AsadMughalStudio. In this policy, “I”, “me” and “my” mean Muhammad Asad, and “this website” means this site and all of its pages.

2.Information I collect

Contact form

If you send a message through the contact form, I receive the details you enter:

• Your full name and email address
• Your business name, if you choose to give it
• The type of website you are interested in
• Your budget, if you choose to give it
• The project details you write in your message

You do not have to include anything you are not comfortable sharing, and please do not include sensitive information such as passwords or financial details in your message.

Quote request form

The quote request form on the home page does not send your details to this website’s server. It prepares a message that opens in WhatsApp or in your email app on your own device. I only receive it if you press send there.

Messages you send me directly

If you email me or message me on WhatsApp, I receive your email address or phone number, your profile name and the content of your message.

Spam protection

The contact form uses a hidden field and a timing check in your browser to tell people from automated spam. These checks do not collect personal information about you.

Technical information

Like most websites, the web server that hosts this site may automatically keep standard logs, such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used to run and secure the website, and I do not use them to identify individual visitors.

3.How I use your information

I use the information you submit only to run my web development work, in particular to:

• Read your enquiry and reply to you
• Discuss your project and prepare a quote
• Communicate with you if we go on to work together
• Keep a record of our correspondence
• Protect the website and the contact form from spam and misuse
• Meet any legal obligations that apply to me

4.Cookies and analytics

At the time this policy was written, I have not installed analytics, advertising or tracking tools on this website, and it does not load third-party tracking scripts.

This website runs on WordPress. WordPress sets essential cookies for people who log in to the site’s administration area, which is only me. Ordinary visitors are not asked to log in.

When you follow a link to WhatsApp, your email app or another outside website, that service may use its own cookies under its own policy. If I add analytics or other tracking in the future, I will update this policy first and, where the law requires it, ask for your consent.

5.Third-party services

I use a small number of outside services to run this website and to communicate with you. Each has its own privacy policy, and I do not control how they handle information.

• Contact form service: messages from the contact form are processed and delivered to me by [Add the name of your form service], which may also apply its own spam filtering and may process technical data such as your IP address.
• Email provider: messages reach me through my email inbox, which is provided by Gmail (Google).
• WhatsApp: if you choose to message me on WhatsApp, the conversation is handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms and privacy policy.
• Hosting provider: this website is hosted by [Add the name of your hosting provider], which stores the website’s files and data and may keep standard server logs.

These providers may process information in countries other than your own.

6.Data storage and security

Contact form messages are delivered to my email inbox, and may also be held for a time in the form service’s system. Only I have access to them.

This website uses HTTPS, which encrypts the connection between your browser and the site. I aim to keep WordPress, the theme and the plugins up to date and to use reasonable measures to protect the website and the information sent to me.

No method of sending data over the internet or storing it electronically is completely secure, so I cannot guarantee absolute security.

7.Data retention and deletion

I keep enquiry details only for as long as I need them to answer you, to carry out any project we agree, and to keep reasonable records. Enquiries that do not lead to a project are deleted after [Add a retention period, for example 12 months].
